Since last week I have been unable to update my accounts on Quicken (for windows) I keep getting an error pop up *Quicken's Online service is unavailable at this time.

In Quicken, go to Tools > Account List. Find the account in the list, and click Edit. Click on the Online Services tab. Click Deactivate. If you receive a message advising that you have transactions to review before you can deactivate the account, but there are no transactions to review, click here .

Thanks for the reply. I now understand that the "Quicken Online Service" is a term being used for One Step Update (or OSU), sorry for the confusion. Apparently this is a known issue - this is the suggested approach to fix it: Go into Preferences. Sign in as a different user, but Sign in using the exact Quicken User ID and Password. I have to do that multiple times to remove the box and then a message appears in another smaller rectanglular box that says "Quicken online service is unavailable at this time". I've tried closing and reopening Quicken and restarting the computer. I need to update my accounts.
